The setting was beautiful. Can’t say enough about how relaxing it was. Sitting on the front or side porch listening to the birds and being serenaded by the whippoorwill, watching the dove hatchlings and the happily feeding hummingbirds was amazing. Nice trail to the pond and around to the front of the property. Lots to do in the area.

A clean and family-friendly lodge with plenty of amenities! Duggas & Bones had all the space we needed for our large family. It is was the absolute best vacation rental cabin in Brown County. We brought our dog and she loved jumping in the ponds and stomping in the creek. The property is adjoined on all sides by Hoosier National Forest which gave us plenty of hiking options. It was nice to be completely private yet close to The Story Inn and downtown Nashville, IN. They even had fiber optic high-speed Wi-Fi! We will definitely be back.

The cabin is a huge, comfortable space that was perfect for a getaway with my extended family of 8 (plus a dog). The 5 bedrooms with their own bathrooms were great for three couples plus two young adults, giving everyone a bit of privacy when they wanted it. The large, well-stocked kitchen and 10-person dining table were perfect for family meals, as were the multiple charcoal grills (not to mention the smoker, which we didn’t use). In the evening, the firepit was perfect for s’mores, with plenty of Adirondack chairs for everyone (plus some marshmallow sticks were provided). Truly a peaceful experience if you want to get away from the city/suburban life for a few days.

We chose the Duggas & Bones Lodge to host a weekend retreat for our real estate team and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The cabin sits on a very large parcel with no neighbors nearby, offering plenty of peace and quiet. The cabin itself offers all kinds of things to do for kids and adults of all ages. The living quarters are warm and cozy. My biggest highlight is that the bedrooms off the living room are both en suites! The morning we left, I put my drone up to get a birds-eye view of the land and I spotted 7 deer! Definitely book this place if you are traveling with a large group! We will likely make this an annual trip and there’s nowhere else in Brown County we’d rather stay. Thanks again for your hospitality and for providing such a great space for us to host our retreat!

Great cabin for families with children of all ages. The kitchen was great for everyone to be together while cooking or eating. The cabin has a great layout and there is plenty to do for everyone. Full baths for each bedroom are great. Trunks with toys and plenty of games and books were great. My Grandson played with the wrecker and firetruck the entire weekend! Cons: The fireplace was not working and there was no firewood provided inside or out. “Avid Anglers” might be a bit disappointed with the fishing ponds, but great for the kiddos to go fishing.
